Baked Pork Chops with Potatoes
Ingredients 5 pork chops, 1/2 - 3/4 inch thick 1/4 cup diced onion 1 can cream of celery soup (or cream of mushroom or chicken) 1/2 cup milk 4-5 medium potatoes, sliced 1/4 cup flour 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown pork chops in skillet on medium high heat. Remove pork from skillet and set aside. Combine soup, milk, and onion and pour into hot skillet. Quickly add flour and blend, stirring quickly. Remove from heat.
In the bottom of a greased casserole dish, layer sliced potatoes. Pour half of the soup mixture over the potatoes. Place browned pork chops on mixture. Cover with remaining soup mixture. Cover and bake for 1 1/4 hours. Serves 5. |
